Joseph's background is in teaching practical and useful skills.

He learned classical guitar from the age of 7 years old, and had 1-to-1 lessons at the International School of Amsterdam, as well as with teachers in Denmark, Singapore, and Malaysia.

He completed his Trinity grade 8 certificate with Malaysia-based guitarist/musician Jonathan Wong. He

has since pivoted into performing jazz.

Joseph has performed live with different bands and been involved with many open jam sessions. With a performance-focused background, he can teach the practical skills required to play in a collaborative

setting.
